Apollo Hospital, Greames Road, Chennai, Its Leach. they s#ck you money. We went for a consultation with a gynaec. Regn charges Rs. 200. Doctor consultation Rs. 600.ok, thats fine. But then Blood tests. Rs. 3500, came out and did it from Vijaya hospital and it costs me only Rs. 1300, probably might be lesser elsewhere . So they suck Rs. 2200 more for a blood test. And then Ultra sound upper Abdomen Rs. 1500. you go to Scans World in Numgambakkam they will do the same for Rs. 500. So s#cking additional Rs. 1000.
We need good Doctors and generally we assume(may be right) we should go popular hospitals to consult a good doctor but as patients please be careful that they give a run for your money in the name of good treatment. Don't lose your hard earned money in these hospitals, search, there may be a good doctor next door.
