I visited the pediatrician along with my 3 year old son today for a 11.45 am appointment. I drove into the entry gate and since it was not an emergency and it was 11.20 am I choose to self park my car. I entered the parking place and was surprised to see that a car was heading opposite to exit.
The attender there asked me to back out since the opposite car refused to go the other way. I obliged and after the car left I went to the parking area again and this time there are 4 cars in front of me trying to exit. I asked the attender what was the confusion to which he abused me in kannada saying " aakade hogyeh" cant you see. I stepped out of my car and asked him where I am supposed to go as I was in the correct passage which read ENTRY.
The boy just showed his hand in an offensive manner and started abusing me in kannada. He spoke so rudely and even abused my driving skills saying I was a bad driver because I was a woman. I was offended and raised my voice in kannada to which 3 of your attenders rushed like they were going to attack me. Since I was running late and was also scared as I was alone with a baby and my maid I went to the valet parking and gave them my car. I reported the incident to Ms.Vaishali who called the Security personnel Sathees and asured me that it would be resolved. I left from there and went to collect my car from the valet parking and to my shock I received my car with a flat rear tyre.
The valet parker and the security guard were kind enough to offer help to change it but I said that I would take it round the corner and have it fixed. I have been driving for over 18 years now and know how to manage such situations. Just outside your hospital is a tyre shop who inspected the tyre and said that deliberately someone had taken the air from my car and there was no punture. I filled air and fixed my tyre back and came back to the hospital and called for Ms.Vaishali and Mr.Satheesh again. Even after waiting there for over 20 minutes I did not receive and solution. My 3 year old child was suffering from high fever and cold and I choose to leave that place as a helpless "WOMAN". I was at the hospital to see a doctor for my sick child. I was myself down with a viral flu and could barely talk with a throat infection. Being physically drained as I was sick and emotionally upset since my baby was also sick I come to the hospital to be harassed by your parking staff all because I am a woman driver? The emotional trauma that I and my baby had at the hospital was beyond what words can describe. It was almost 1 pm in the afternoon and the sun was high and my sick child was crying in the car seeing all this drama unfold.
I am utterly disappointed with the kind of treatment meted out to me and equally disappointed that until now I have not got a call from your Hospital with any details.
