I am a doctor .i was very sick with fever and gastroenteriies.mHUSBANDy contacted a doctor whome we knew so he referred and said that particular doctor will attend to us immediately .so we left home immediately .first of all iwas suffering with chills and rigors the whole place is airconitioned .i t made me feel worse .next the concerned doctor was not there when I went it took 15 minuted for her to come later after coming to her chamber she made me wait another 15minutes not that she had some paitents waiting she just closed the chamber door and sat inside here outside I was shivering and had severe nausea and sense of diarrhoeea.after 15 minutes she appeared indifferent may be her americNl training where everybody is faceless And she coldly told me after examining that i had to go to casaulty and get the iv fluids started we had expected her to admitt us to the ward and start treatment .as a doctor i explained to her that worst experience i had in apollo casaulty where a single person could not start an iv line she appeared more cold and said 'i am helpless you have to go there only' she also in her cold voice said all rooms are full we will have to wait in casaulty for two to three hours to get a room
One week prior to this episode i had landed in casaulty for pain abdomen .then itself no doctor/staff could start an iv .no blankets were provided when i said i as feeling cold .so i dreaded going again but as i was becoming dehydrated which the doctor herself had noticed and mentioned i went to casaulty. .
Again the casaulty same situation was created .i practically ran away from the casaulty with my husband to sagar hospital where i was attended immediately
Here in apollo casaulty from the doctor to the staff were more concerned with reserving their tea and coffe
See i am not blaming all the doctors there because the ortopedic surgeon there dr jeethendra did a good job on my broken elbow
But situation in casaulty is appaling and this lady physician is i do not know what to tell me being a doctor itself not an iota of human touch i feel it may be her way of showing she is not trained from india and comes from the land of materilism where dr jeethendra is also from uk but he has not lost his indian back ground
