My Mother was suffering for cold for a year. As there were no good results from what the local doctor had prescribed we went to Dr. chandan Chakraborty a renouned ENT at Apollo Glen. He gave her medicines for 20 days & some tests(which included brain scanning & MRI also) which cost
25000 /-, saying it'll be better soon. Her condition started to worsen after 3 days of taking the medicines & on the fifth day we again went to the same doctor with the reports etc.
He said all her reports were fine but there was septic in her nose & it has to be operated immediately(the complete operation charge would come to 90000+_2000). He and his secretary acted out a whole sequence of a well rehearsed drama to get her admitted the next day itself.
We were in shock as 5 days back he himself had said all was well & also gave medicines for 20 days. According to him the reports were also normal so why this sudden urgency. As my mother was terribly frightened I told the doctor to give us a weeks time till my father returned & then we'll discuss further. We were in for more shock when he started forcing us to get her admitted & operated. we nearly ran for my mother's life. Even after we reached home his secretary called us twice saying why did we leave the hospital.
Next day itself I took my mom to another ENT who prescribed her a few medicine, we kept waiting that he'll say that her condition was really bad because we were so scared. He said she'll be fine in a week & it was nothing serious. She is completely cured now with those medicines.
By god's grace we were saved from being taken for a ride. When I read a few reviews I saw many people were not so lucky and few had even lost there lives to these crooks to call themselves doctors.
