Had a Very Unpleasant experience. Stay Away!!The rooms at cradle gives 5 start feeling with AC's and TV's in the room. All looks good at outside but the facilities inside are pathetic. They have a faulty ventilator which breaks up any time risking the baby's life.
They have a package where they will discharge you in 3 days. Completely commercial!! Few patients may need more time but then you have to pay extra.
Here goes our story.
We were refered by a gynaecologist (Meenakshi Kamath) to admit in cradle as the baby had to be taken out at 7 months due to fluid leak. Since it is 28 weeks premature baby, it should have been already known to the gynaecologist that the baby will have to spend atleast a month or more in NICU. Knowing that the gynaecologist refered us to cradle. The first day was fine after which the problem started.
The ventilator gave up the next afternoon, and after 6 hours or so they decided to shift to the Apollo Hospital. Cradle charges so much and they dont have a proper ventilator/NICU to look after the baby. There wasnt any apology from cradle nor any deductions in charges. Completely unprofessional.
They dont even have tie ups with major insurance companies making you to struggle for reimbursement for your money.We had to visit craddle after discharging for collecting documents for claiming purposes, the staff were rude and didn't behave like the way they used to while admitting.
Please dont admit there, for premature born better go to Apollo hospital or some other hospital.
