Good movie to watch with famliy. Review on Apne

Myth: I generally watch Sunny Paji’s movie just to make fun of him,

(When in Gadar he shouted Ooooooooooooooooooyeeeeeeeeeee in and militarily vanished, I enjoyed it as a comic scene)   I was expecting of similar sort(usual Deol style unrealistic things;) in this movie as well, but surprisingly it dint happen(Sunny Paji must have controlled himself so much Lol;)

Plot(Not revealed completely): ** This movie is about the sportsmanship, the passion, the pride, the manhood and above all emotions.  In this cricket worshiping country making a film on any other sport is really challenging and Anil Sharma did a good job here.

Baldev Choudhary(who else Dharm paji) once won an Olympic silver medal in boxing. He came very close to realizing his dream of winning the World Heavyweight Boxing Championship. But he was falsely implicated in doping charges and banned from boxing.

His dream shattered, a disgraced Baldev retires with humiliation and resentment. Now, he hopes that his elder son Angad(Sunny Deol) will fulfill his dream. But Angad doesn't share his father's passion for boxing.  Then his younger sun karan( Bobby) picks up the boxing and try make his father’s dream true.  And then what happens I don’t want to reveal here….Shilpa shetty and katrina kaif dint have much to do in this movie…

Boxing matched also have grip, good background music during the matches…

Bobby you did a great job hats off to you boy…its 2:45 hr movie…

First 1:45 minutes had a great grip and you don’t feel like moving for a second…

30 mins u feel like it was dragged and they dint have to do it, it was little hard to digest but still it was ok  (at least it wasn’t like Gadar’s   Oooooooooooooooyeeeeeeeeeeeeeee)

*Casting Performance:

*Dharmendra(3/5):  His dialog delivery is still same, all the time I felt as if he was drunk

), but still he did a good job, he was able to show the pain inside, in his

second   scene he really looks young( Mind you Dharam paji dint abuse even once “Kutte”;)

Sunny Paji(2/5): Paji thank you for controlling your emotion and not doing unrealistic thing

too much.

Kiran kher(3/5):  Her dint has much to do but still had a bigger role than shilpa n

katrina and she did justice with her role

Overall recommendation(3.5/5):  Good movie to watch with family in theater, if go with low expectation as I went, you will surely like the movie regardless of u being fan of DEOLS.
