Dont be confused by the film title, the film is not remotely related to greedy people or the lust for money in today's times. it is yet another modified version of slapstick comedy cum adulterous sequences with shreyas talpade grossly misused, reteish deshmukh playing a con man yet again and anupam kher with his worn out but nevertheless hilarious antics. the film is good for a few occasional laughs thanks to umpteen no. of indecent scenes, but those willing to sport their thinking caps on have no other alternative than to turn their noses to this one.
deshmukh steals the show with a narrative backed role and does succeed in tickling our funny bones with good support from kher. star cast is big but makes not much difference to the performance bar. with a rather ridicolous script and even worse screenplay, the film seems more like a bunch of gags strung together and a few cartoonic characters for good measures only to coax a few aimless titters out of the audience.
koena mitra and celinahave nothing much to do than wearing revealing outfits. riya sen looks pretty though. the sets are mediocre and the music just debilitates the already hampered screenplay.
the scenario is so tangled that one is confused for the better part of the movie about the central plot. talpade was modestly good but was deceived by a role that looks promising on paper but is hollow in the film. even most of the situations are repetitive and dont make one laugh so much. better luck next time for a decent screenplay atleast.
P.S. - vivaah in a way improved the business of this film as many people including me who came to watch the rajshri's latest production had to compromise with this one as vivaah's shows were housefull for all day long.
