We had booked a family trip to Australia from Bangalore.
Since the time we booked the trip we have faced problems with the booking.
Iternary given had malaysian airlines mentioned, But the tickets we got was ethihad airlines and the trip was from bangalore to abudabhi and from abudabhi to melbourne.
This increased our travel time by 5-6 hours.
There was no confirmation done before booking the tickets. When asked the antilog agent, Krishna Jha told that when their ticketing team tried calling him to confirm booking, his phone was switched off so they booked ethihad airlines. This was the first unprofessional answer we got from the antilog for the mistake done in booking the flight.
We also had problems in getting our visa status which we again booked through the agent which antilog has tie up with.
Unfortunately before two days of travel, my dad had heart attack and we had to cancel/postpone our trip. He underwent bypasssurgery and travel was impossible for my dad.
we informed antilog about this unfortunate incident and they said they postponing the trip was not possible. And also told that our package was nonrefundable.
We maield hotel ppl in melbounre and sydney and asked them for refund. They replied to us saying they ahve cancelled our booking with zero charges.We called up Ethihad and asked them for a refund and they told us they will charge 4800 per ticket and rest will be refunded.
When we informed Antilog about this, they were not ready to give us any refund. The entire package cost was 6lakh rupees which antilog is not ready to refund us.When we told about takign legal action, they got back to us saying, we will have to sign an agreement with them and they will give refund of 1 lakh(which they are getting from the airlines people) and this refund will be mentioned as refund for the entire packge.
Only on signing this agreement we will be getting this one lakh rupees which again is not very sure. None of these communication will happen over mail. They only call you after weeks of delay and say this.
Antilog policy no where talks about medical emergency. We know that antilog has got entire refund and not ready to pay us the money back. THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL MONEY MAKING COMPANY who will not work for customer satisfaction.
