Antartica as everybody knows is the southernmost continent. More than 80% of this continent is ice..The bottom most..the deepest...layer of ice being formed some hundreds of thousnds of years ago. A continent which witnesses six months of ''DAY'' and the balance six months of ''NIGHT''. A great wonder of nature here is the existance of a semi-active Volcano Mountain...Imagine in the midst of sub-zero temperatures...a lava emitting volcano.
As for jimmy's question...if you mean tourist cruise ships?..no there are none to my knowledge..But several expeditions have been there..If my information is correct two of those expeditions have unsuccessfully attempted to wrapple down in the pit of the cvolcano mountain to gather gases and other information, which apparently would help gather a lot of information about start of our planet earth itself.
