Frst things first - this is more of a conditioner than a hair colour. If you want deeper hair colours, better try something else.
This gives just a light( reddish) tint. But it is a heavy kind of conditioner. By heavy I mean, it is something that makes your hair feel slightly thicker, healthier, conditioned. But it is not the silky smooth and temporary effect of a normal conditioner; this is more like - smooth and long-lasting. Application is similar to normal henna - you soak it overnight and apply in the morning.
You can add curd or oils when soaking - for extra conditioning; I personally prefer curd. Keep it on your hair for a minimum of 30minutes( maximum? maybe 2 hours) and wash off. 45min-1 hour for best results. Would recommend this as a conditioner for occasional use( applying henna on a regular basis, is too much of trouble) . For darker hair colours, try something else.
