Anniyan is the most expected movie of 2005. (Chandramukhi or Anniyan, a debate that will last for ever)!

Learn to get in touch with silence within yourself, and know that everything in this life has a pupose.

Director Shankar’s previous venture BOYS dint do too well at the box office. For the money he spent on the movie, the movie dint get the aprreciation in return. It was termed VULGAR comedy. But, the youth of today did enjoy the movie (I did like it).

Oscar Ravichandran is back after tow bombings at the box-office. Both his previous films in JAY JAY and Thendral were failures.

Not to leave Vikram out of this failure tagline. His previous venture was one and a half years ago in the form of ARUL. This movie too came a croper at the box-office. His previous movies in Kadal Sadugudu was also a flop.

Next major attraction in this expected blockbuster is SADA. She is also in need of a hit as she has not delivered any after JAYAM. Her last two movies were Varnajalam and Ethiri. Both these were never in contention for doing buisness.

So the people who have recently failed, put up a combination to prove a point or two to the film critics through this mega venture Anniyan. We will have to wait to see how well they have fared. Anniyan is slated for a June 17th release.

Although everything is ready to release anniyan, the producer and the director are delaying it due to business reasons. Their business idea seems to be a good one. There seems to be zero-competition for Anniyan. Hence, the film is expected to take bumper opening all over. Lets see how well this idea works in favor of the movie.

Anniyan Craze

One of the Best trailers I have even seen in tamil movie industry.Breath taking scenes and camera work was too good.The fight sequence resemble the MATRIX, but still its a quality work.The expectation for the movie has grown up 10 times after seeing the trailer.I hope they don’t delay too much to make the craze Buble burst.

Anniyan Storyline

Anniyan’s storyline is based on how a lawyer wants to effect changes that would help India become like the western nations. Those of us who have visited the developed countries in Europe and North America would be wondering why India cant become like one of those. The movie is about the parasites of Indian society in different parts of the country that plague our progress. How several of them are highly linked with each other.

Anniyan Soundtrack

For the first time in his film carreer Shankar has moved out of AR Rehman and has thrusted the musicing work to Harris Jeyaraj. He has done a good job. The songs are already chart busters. The pick of the lot for me is ’’Iyengaru veetu ...’’. Good classical mood number.

The Final words of hope

I always believed that Shankar’s social-issue-related movies were much better than his lighter storied movies. All the best to Shankar, Vikram, Harris and Ravichandran!!

Hope that this movie would turn out to be a monstourous hit.
