Senseless portrayal of characters. Review on Annamalai

Of late, the so called plot of this most happening serial is being taken too far. I once chanced to watch this at home.

It happened at elder daughter's house where the villain (villy of the piece) is trying to make covert advances with the girls husband. And you have a friend who has married the girls ex-lover. The mother in law is atrocious woman. The guy also talks some nonsense as if trying to make a point.

Isn't this portrayal real degradation to those looking at equal treatment to women. And I think Annamalai has set a record of sorts in having more wives for the lead role. It is unthinkable in real terms. No girl worth her name would be so submissive and still try to live like that.

Let the director chose to tell us if he is opublicly endorsing bigamy on both male and female characters. They should also really look at the way the bad people get away with their kill and as if you could attempt one and get away scot free.

A lot more needs to be done. All those watching are really consumed by the images but the real fact is the younger generation who are exposed to these tele serials will have a bad impression on the society and might look up to the paid fake characters as shown in this teleserial.

Consumer is a moron is what it simply illustrates.
