The worst bus trip I ever had was with Anjali travels and someone has to write about it so that others can avoid this disaster. I usually book tickets through redbus and this is the second time (and last) I booked with with Anjali travels. First time (which was six months back)Anjali travels called me up half an hour before the journey and told me that the bus got cancelled. They put me in a ISUZU bus instead of a Volvo I booked and dropped me 30 kms away from the destination. As a one-time event I accommodated it. However last time experience was extremely bad. After booking the ticket one month in advance, me and my wife reached the travel agency before time.
To my dismay, there was not an office for the agency (last time I did not enquire as I was alone and somehow I got a seat) and when I contacted the number given in the ticket, the same old. The bus got cancelled and another bus is arranged, the person on the phone claimed. I book online mainly because I can select the seats and here instead of the middle seats I booked, I got a back seat where we could not recline the seat and made to sit with three other strangers (five seat in a row). We havent slept for the most of the night because of the engine noise of the Volvo and of the shivering. And the travel I put in was 'Viji Yatra', whose contact peroson was extremely rude when I asked about the seat position. We had to go through this after paying 2600 INR for two tickets!
Please avoid this travels (Anjali tours & travels) at any cost. I have a 100% disappointment rate dealing with these guys. Honestly, this is the most pathetic service I ever used!
