Let's face it.
Did Anil win matches for India? Yes he did. Some of them
Did Anil win matches single-handedly? Don't remember many. May be some.
Is Anil a team player? No doubt about it. He is an excellent person in that.
Is Anil providing the value addition in the team? I definitely think his primedays are gone and he is reaching his twilight.
His performance is not so excellent overseas in non-spinner friendly pitches. He's gotta prove himself exceedingly well like warne or murali.
He has to perform very consistently. He hasn't done that except in India which is a haven for spinners.
Let's not forget his records and the volition that he showed in west-indies and all.
He is a true team player, a gentleman.
I wouldn't call him a genius, but is an excellent spin(should I say medium-pace) bowler.
I only wish he comes up with few tricks to be very consistent such as a flipper.
