Hi to all,

Here I want to stress the method of giving marks in a medical college.

PRESENT METHOD:

In a medical subject there wil be two categories-theory and practicals.and

We all know that the %to pass required is 50% with no choice.

To attain afirst class we require 65%.i think it is the correct mechanism as medicine deals with life.

Ok that’s one point then talking about the marks given in the college(internalmarks-40 and also can manage practicals(40)=total 80).also there will be theory viva for 20 marks in each subject.so a total of 100 marks in each subject in 200 marks.so out of 600 marks 300 are in the hands of the institution.

In a government college they don’t have a need to give marks to a student and they will give just a pass percentage(50%) to the students.but the private institutions have a great to chance to gve more % to their students for the well being of the institution.

This could a big danger in the future as students may not have to read well to get marks and this will strongly effect future medicine.even a below average student can be rated as a top doctor due to this c urrent situation and this could be a great loss to our country.
