A warm Shoutout to all the readers of Mouthshut. I am here to write about my own experience with the stay with Andhra Bank. I have been a customer of Andhra Bank for about 2.5 years till date and I have mixed feelings and experiences.
I have a savings Bank account with Andhra Bank and yes I do use the Net Banking or the Mobile Banking often for online transfer of funds or to make any of the Online Payments. What I have seen that the Net Banking Web-page is very simple and easy to use but with very limited options. One good thing that I have seen about Andhra Bank's Net Banking is that the password needs to be changed every 50 days and this enhances the Security of the account.
The Mobile application for Andhra Bank is available for both the Android and the iOS platform. The application is also very simple and user friendly and any one can use it easily. I like the Quick Pay option that Andhra Bank offers which allows us to transfer funds to other Banks immediately with out registering the user.
Andhra Bank's atm are also available at most of the Places and I have seen that they are maintained very properly. I have seen that the Atm's are always kept clean and there will be a security Guard for sure.
These were the Nice points about Andhra Bank but here are some of the points that I feel they should Change. The people who are working at the banks are mostly very slow. It usually takes around 30-45 minutes for any of the funds to be updated on your account if you have made any deposits. If you see carefully you will see that there will be a TINY BOX which you need to tick if you want the funds to be deposited immediately but the sad part is that it will not happen.
They have a 24/7 Customer service number which is 1800 425 1515 but it will take ages to be answered. Rest all is fine apart from the Bank personals to be requested to be quick and efficient.
