Mindblowingly FUNNY!. Review on Andaz Apna Apna

After making hard-hitting films like GHAYAL and DAMINI,RAJ KUMAR SANTOSHI.............tried his hand at comedy and what a film he turned out to make..............yes I am talking about ANDAAZ APNA APNA,the funniest bollywood film ever made,for me atleast.I have seen the film more than thousand times and still am crazy about it,ANDAAZ APNA APNA is totally dumb and illogical film,the characters in the film are stupid and crazy,yet the film is a MASSIVE ENTERTAINER.The film starred for the first and last time the then superstars AAMIR KHN and SALMAN KHAN along with PARESH RAWAL,SHAKTI KAPOOR,RAVEENA TONDON and KARSHMA KAPOOR.AAA is a must watch..............and all those who have not seen the film have lost on a large amount of fun.

STORY.........there is nothing much in the story,its about AMAR(AAMIR)and PREM(SALMAN) who want to marry RAVEENA BAJAJ(RAVEENA)b'coz of her property...........and the fun starts when both AMAR-PREM enter her house.

ACTING

AAMIR KHAN as AMAR and SALMAN KHAN as PREM.......................were simply outstanding.Their on-screen chemistry was awesome and both had great comic timing.Starting from their first scene to the last they make you laugh to the extent that tears will start rolling out of your eyes.I found Salman khan's acting in a few scenes esp th climax..............too funny,it has to be one of his cutest perfomance ever.

RAVEENA TONDON and KARISHMA KAPOOR.........lend great support,they were so innocent and cute in their potrayl of the two brainless bimbos.

Another great performace came from SHAKTI KAPOOR(whom I hate from the bottom of my heart,otherwise) as CRIME MASTER GOGO..............he was hilarious,his dress,mannerisma were crazy................i love the way he says in the climax THAK-KI-TIKI-THAK-KI-TIKI........lol.

PARESH RAWAL,ROBERT and Ajit's look-alike(dunno his actual name) were brilliant too.

The best thing about the film other than the acting,were the DIALOUGES...............they were down-right funny.Everytime I watch the scene were AMAR-PREM go to receive PARESH RAwal and say ''UNCLE AA GAYE,UNCLE DANDI PE BAITH JAYIYA,UNCLE BEECH MEIN BAITH JAYIYA............. I really start rolling on the floor when I listen to the dialoges in this scene and also the way the whole scene was encted.Some of my other favourite dialouges are''CHOTE MAMU YE KHILAYO,CHOTE MAMU WO KHILAYO'' ''GOGA JI APNA GHAGRA SMBHALIYA'' ''AJEEB NAUKER HAIN IS GHAR KE PEHL LETE NAHI HAIN AB DETE NAHI HAIN'' ''TILLU KO KALI MIRCH KE LADOO KHILANE HAIN''....................and many more.

Some of my favourite scene in the film are when AMAR-PREM come as CHOTE MAMU-BADE MAMU to RAVEENA's house,the scene where Salman comes as DOCTOR KHURANA,the sharbaat scene on Robert's birthday,the climax,the whole kidnapping scenE of PARESH RAWAL,the scene where amar-prem GO TO MEET Paresh rawal for the first time..............they all were sooooooooo funny.

There was nothing much in terms of direction in the film..................but to make a film soooooooo funny you really need talents,and RKS did a wonderful job.THE FILM IS A LAUGH RIOT FROM START TO END....................there is no loud or vulgar comedy and the acting is also very controlled......and the credit for that goes to the director.

There are four songs in the film...............DO MASTANE,DIL KARTA HAIN,YE RAAT AUR YE DOORI and AE LO JI SANAM..................and they are all very cute.

ANDAAZ APNA APNA....................is the funniest film I have seen,i have the VCD of the film and watch the film everytime I get the time...............i love the film coz whenever I watch the film it leaves a smile on my face.
