*~ Rabba Ishq Na Hove ~*. Review on Andaaz - New

I finally got to see this Akshay Kumar & Miss “Whatever” team – in ANDAAZ

It’s a mix of --- Forest Gump & DDLJ

First, why in the hell is this movie called “Andaaz”?

:: Clichéd Filmi Method of LOVE ::

All problem starts when a girl or a boy says to one another “Mujhse Dosti Karoge”

They become each others’ confidant, inspiration, best friend…basically they become part of each others’ lives. Lara is fascinated by planes…her world stops when she sees one fly by {is it me? Or this is the craziest thing ever}. Akshay promises her that he will become a pilot and will take her on his plane. He leaves for training…come backs in couple of years. And is ready to propose to Lara.

But Lara has a surprise for him….she is already in love with Aman verma, who is rich and owns his own planes. Akshay is left heartbroken – After Lara is married.

Lara & Akshay lose connection…He goes back to his training and somehow lands Abroad. Where he meets the crazy Priyanka Chopra. Who instantly falls in love with him. Akshay is annoyed by her…so goes back to India! Surprise!>..she is there…as a sweet Indian girl…to impress his bhai and bhabhi. Akshay finally agrees to marry her….after all the persuasion.

Priyanka invites him to meet her family…..Another Surprise! Her shocked/ill bhabhi is Lara Dutta. Who keeps on committing suicide after her husband’s death. Lara is just like a dead body…doesn’t feel/speaks/talks….. Akshay gets her back to reality.

Lara and Akshay again become good friends but Priyanka can’t stand the closeness. She is shocked to see Akshay propose his love for Lara …. She stages a whole engagement ceremony! Where she questions both Akshay & Lara….and finds out that Akshay is madly in love with her…Lara is in tears…and….lets see…(no surprises here) They both get married!

(X) Movie was called Andaz for no apparent reason.

(X) Lara Dutta actually starred in it & looked awful

(X) Music Director offers noting new except for the love triangle hit ‘Rabba Ishq Na Hove”

(X) Lara actually makes the worst bride ever!

(X) Johnny Lever acts like an idiot…no needed for him to be even in the movie.

(X) Both Actresses are shown wearing sultry clothes for no reason.

(X) Editing is bad!

(X) Ending was no surprise! And it was stretched way tooo long!

(X) Direction is bad….wait awful!

(X) Akshay Kumar is the best thing in the moive (which is not so great!)

(X) Thank God! Aman Verma only had two scenes.

(X) Wow! The director has some brains! For not using Lara’s real voice ~ although, it wasn’t all that pleasure to dubbed voice either.

One question :::Why in the world do all the Miss India contestants say that they would never enter acting bizz – but they all do!

Please…spare us all of the big speeches of never entering bollywood!

Overall, Don’t waste your precious time over this stupid Gawd Awful movie!
