Ahh ...And Justice For All, The masterpiece from Metallica.

This Qualifies for the best Metal Album EVER!

I love everything about this album, there's just no drawback to the whole album.

I'll list the reasons why the albums may just be the best ever...

  1. The Songs

The Album starts with Blackened

Its a dowright rocker. It starts slow, giving way to the trademark ta-tana-tanana riff by Hammett... Wow!

The song is about us abusing the Earth, I believe...

Great Solo, and superb vocals by Hetfield. You can almost feel the pain!

...Blackened!

Would Rate It 9/10

The second song is...And Justice For All

Again this song starts off slow, giving way to heavy drumming by Ulrich.

The drumming is awesome, going start-stop-roar...! Almost throughout the song, making it a classic. Hetfield is at his best as always...

The Song is against the justice system, it goes something like this:

''Justice is lost

Justice is raped

Justice is gone''

Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant song.

I esp. like Hetfield's voice when he says:

''Winning is all

Find it so grim

so true

so real''

Making you despise the System that has made him say this. And the drums, Oh! the drums, can there be any better? Also, the solo is a serene, almost gliding along with some awesome Bass.

Would rate it 10/10

The third song is Eye Of The Beholder

It starts with steady drumming and guitars by both Ulrich and Hammett... It builds up, almost like you know (I dunno if I can say this, but) almost like building an orgasm, stopping for a sec, and finally giving way to that familiar Hetfield growl goin ''Do you see what I see''

Check out Newstead's Bass... some of the best I've heard!

Would Rate it 10/10

The Fourth song is One

Who doesn't love this song? It starts off like a ballad, almost contimues the same way, but towards the end, flips into the rocker of a song that it is...

Hetfield, is marvellous on this song... as is the case with almost all the songs now, you can feel the anguish, the hatred towards life in general.

The song is about a soldier who's lost all sensations, he's become a vegetable.

All four members have performed their best on this song...

This Just may be the Best Metallica song EVER!

Would rate it 100/10!!

The Fifth song is The Shortest Straw

This is also a very powerful song, but its only drawback is that it comes after ''One''

Doesn't live upto the expectations after the previous track.

But an amazing song, with some very powerful https://lyrics.

Hetfield is amazing with the lyrics, well done!

Would Rate it 8/10

The Sixth song is Harvester Of Sorrow

This is one of the shorter songs on the album, but by no means a bad song...

It also has some very powerful lyrics:

''My life suffocates

Planting seeds of hate

I've loved, turned to hate

Trapped far beyond my fate''

The Drums and Guitar complement the start-stop-start-stop pattern of the song...

Also the solo is one of the best I've heard.

Would rate it 10/10

The Seventh Song is Frayed Ends Of Sanity

I like this song, because its almost like a continuation of ''Harvester of Sorrow''

Brilliant work done in the song-writing dept.

The best part is the swoop..(its towards the latter part of the start riffs) that goes across your headphones, like a rocket goin through your head!

Would rate it 9/10

The Eighth song is To Live Is To Die

Wonderful song, with some amazing guitar wotk by Hammett, but I find it a little repetetive..

This must be the only ''weak'' part in the album.

Not that its a bad song, I feel it would have been more appropriate, if it were on ''Ride The Lightning''

Would Rate it 7/10

The Ninth Song is Dyers Eve

Starts off very strongly... Neva really got the meaning of the song, but an amazing piece of musicmanship. Amazing drums, guitar, bass, and oh the vocals... they just rule over all!!!

Would Rate this one 9/10

You can plainly see why this is the Best Metallica Album!

Almost all of the songs could have been singles, if they'd tried you know...

Also, the album is released after their former bassist Cliff Burton was killed in an accident... Soo much anger is vented through the https://lyrics.

Even the title ''...And Jusice For All'' is soo apt on this album, although I feel it could also have been named ''In Loving Memory''... Wouldn't have gone with the whole theme of the album then... Hmmm, AJFA is better.

But, this album should have ''The Unforgiven'' from The Black Album, instead of of ''To Live Is To Die'' that would have made this album Unbelieveable...

It almost feels like a Rage Against The Machine album, ya k... with all that hatred towards the system.

Even the Album Cover is sooo cool.

Overall, the album is a must buy, for anyone who likes great, mindblowing rock... It don get much better than this...

I'm told that ''St. Peppers something something'' was the best Beatles album,

If Metallica were the Beatles of the day, then AJFA would surely be be ''St. Peppers!''

How Can You Not Have This Album?!?
