Anbe shivam is a class of its own rarely found in commercial cinema, spreading the message of love.
The Plot
Kamalhassan & Madhavan are fellow travelers stuck up in Bhubaneshwar on their way to Chennai, where their flights & trains got canclled. Kamal good at heart always tries to help madhavan. Where as madhavan an Add-man who always ignores kamal due to his attitude and looks. Madhavan learns a lot from Kamal on his journey with him, he starts liking him towards the end of the journey. Kamal had a bitter past is shown in the flashback.
The Cast
Kamal proves that no Indian Actor can match his Caliber once again in the role of “Nallashivam”
Madhavan has a meaty role to express right emotions is equally good
Kiran has very less to do also contributes fully to her role
Nassar is good as usual

Cinematography & music shares the Technical highlights of the film
The Screenplay & witty Dialogues are OK
Sunder C the Director has extracted the performance from lead cast and have filmed stylishly.
The background music needs special mention along with the title song which glues with the theme.
Overall
AnbeShivam is a sincere effort from its cast and crew with an experimental touch to the main plot. Thanks to the creators for not adding commercial elements to it. The movie is refreshing with excellent performance from lead cast. It may not create any ripples at BO, but is a movie worth a watch. Maybe that’s why the kapoors had decided to remake it in Hindi with Anil kapoor in lead role.
