An offbeat career. Review on Amway India Enterprises Pvt Ltd

I planned to join Amway way back in 1997. I was in college then, and was thinking about MLMs as the latest and greatest business opportunity on earth. I attended a couple of meetings and was totally cconvinced. But future held other plans for me. People around forced me to understand that MLMs are flop shows, meant for the gullibles and operated by criminals. I did not have money to join the business, and nobody was willing to risk Rs 5000 into my business. Yet, I did not stop dreaming.

After passing out, I joined a regular, thankless job. Down the timeline, I got married, had a kid and aa full scale family. With a family, came financial economics, loans, EMIs, taxes, fees. I was losing freedom. I was losing myself.

Then I met a man, a sloppy kind of guy. He had actually quit his food store business of 10 years to become an Amway dealer! Shucks! So Amway has not shut shop? No! Of course not! When you were sleeping, we went from strength to strength and now we are a force in the Industry to recon with. I was impressed, by the company, though not the man. Joining still meant shelling out Rs 2500. And he was sloppy with the products he showed.

Yet, I wanted an alternate career that could keep my family afloat in case of any eventuality. I was seriously thinking of joining Amway, when the chance did come. A neighbor of my friend introduced me to Amway, and guess what? It did not take a single paisa to join!

Frankly, though I have joined Amway, I am not head and soul into this business. Yet, with absolutely no( AN ABSOLUTE NO)  effort to earn, I have earned Rs 500 to Rs 700 a month. Only if I could give more time to the business.

The way this business works is very simple. We all buy different things in our daily lives. We get discounts and cashbacks. What we do not get are reselling rights. We buy our regular rations at MRP, or nearabout. And any discount we get is marked on the pack. So no chance of gaining a profit from reselling them. But what if we could buy such things at a price less than the marked price? Surely we could profit from that! But once your buyers come to know about your profits, they would want to get profitted too. Yes. They can, too. They would  have to enroll under you as a preferred customer. You would, on the other get a part of their profit. Now if you enroll someone with business in mind, that person enrolls as a Business Organiser. A business organiser has all the privileges enjoyed by a customer, with the additiional privilege of being able to sponsor, bothhPrivileged Customers as vwell as Business organisers.

Some of us have better business acumen than others. Theyrise faster in the business than others. Yet, should you happen to sponsor such a person, you will automatically get bbenefitted.

Amway product, though priced a bit higher, is at par in quality with products found internationally, and is said to be one of the best in the world. And, they are not available in the open market. Nowhere does a company pay  its customers back  as Amway does.
