American Express had been one of my favorite card all the time until I got one finally. When I was in India, I used to feel that AMEX was the ultimate card as I knew very little about it. Though I'm not sure about the no credit limit card as I dont have one (Thank God), I can tell you about my experience with the normal one. If you are an Indian living in the US and if you buy lot of Indian stuff, you might not be able to use your AMEX card anywhere. Almost all Indian merchants I've come across dont accept AMEX cards as they need to pay more on each transaction. Its not just in US, but if you go back to India, the same story repeats again. Not many merchants prefer AMEX cards and they too complain that AMEX charges more per transaction. I would suggest anyone to get a Visa or Master Card. Try the latest Smart Cards. They are cool.
