I recently moved into my new office chamber and the smell of newely painted walls & cabinets was so obnoxious and mind dwindling that is was becomming impossible to work & concentrate.I quickly realized to take concrete steps towards making my chamber a habitable place rather than a CWG venue.So,spray freshner was ordered, of company ODONIL worth 100 INR, soon its fragrance got subdued by the strong pungent smell of oil paint.Within a week the spray had got finished .Problem was still there,PLAN B ,I got online and read few articles regarding home decor & finally zeroed in on AMBI PUR (AIR WICK) room freshner.
Design:-Very good built quality and adjustable rotating lever to increase/decrease the amount of fragrance in room.I think its pure innovation to make use of technology for optimum use of common problems in our day to day lives.
How to operate:- It is as simple as ABC,just insert the liquide dispenser in the machine and plug it into AC socket ,its done.Hence no expertise is required at all.
Cost Effeciveness:- I spent 100 INR in a week to get rid of the bad odour ,This unit costed me 149 INR and it has been over 4 months(24th April 2010) & still there is liquide fragrance left for another 45 days.So approx cost per day comes around Re 1.Thats pocket friendly.
Power consumption:-It has a AC power operated deodorizer with 5 watts consumption at 230 volts .So ,8 hrs of per day use in a month with 4 holidays will lead to a total consumption of 1 KWH.approxSo very cheap to operate.But in erractic power supply it might be a big problem.Hence,it should have an inbuilt battery slot which should make it viable option for use in rural india where electricity is still considered a luxury.
Avalibility:- It is easily avaliable from any kiryana store/multi utility shops or cosmetic & home decor outlets.
Conclusion:-I have fallen in love with this wonderful gadget and upon entering my chamber early in the morning I can literally smell the aromatic fragrance of flowers like jasmine & rose.Truely a wonderful & fantastic addition in my lists of admired gadgets.Thanks
