I ordered for a book on the 27th of August, and delivery date was 11th Sep. On the 15th of Sep when I called them to ask for the status, as I had not received the book, I was told that is got lost in transit and that I need to place the order again!( I fail to understand how a company like Amazon can lose cargo in transit), Anyways, so I ordered for the book again on the 27th of Sep and the delivery was expected on the 17th of Oct.
Again a long wait, again no delivery. So, I called them on the 18th, and was promised the delivery the next day. it didn't happen, so I called again on the 20th, was promised that it will reach on the 21st, which it didn't of course!
So again I had to call them, on which they informed me that the status read as'delivery attempted, customer moved', now I had, but had already updated my new address online, which obviously they had not bothered to check.
Delivery was rescheduled for the 25th then the 28th and again on the 31st but no show!
I spoke to their so called supervisors Sarvesh and Rajiv.
Sarvesh promised me that the delivery will be done by 8pm on the 31st, I called the customer service at 5:30 to inform them that I had yet not received the parcel, on which Abishek(agent) said'ma'am please wait till 8, as I can see it is in transit. I asked them to inform the delivery guy to call me once he is in the vicinity.
Finally when I called today(1st Nov) and spoke to Rajiv, he says " I'm sorry ma'am but now it will be delivered on Monday, as again a delivery was attempted but you have moved from there!"
Most unprofessional and useless lot! I don't think I'll be ever using their service again!I've paid for this book 2 months back but still haven't got it
