What would be a more trusted site than amazon to buy books online, the first product to be sold on amazon was a book.
I have ordered almost all my books from amazon, from novels to study books, and I am more than satisfied. moreover you get a book-mark along with every book, i'm not sure about electronics and other stuff but you can trust amazon as far as books are concerned.
don't trust me, go on and try it yourself!
