I had purchased a Micromax Neo PQC LPQ61407W 14.1 inch Laptop through Amazon. Order no. 171-6271778-6711503 dt. 16/10/2016.
The product was delivered on 17/10/2016. On receiving, it was observed that some of the keyboard keys were not working. Next day, 18/10/2016, the laptop was taken to Micromax Service center, Shree Swati Manor, Near Plaza Cinema, Dadar, Mumbai. Here the service person told that it will take about 20 to 25 days to replace the keyboard, instead she suggested that as the product is new it can be replaced within seven days from purchase day and to contact back to Amazon for replacement which can be done quickly.
On contacting Amazon customer service, the same day, they promised to take back the product next day, 19/10/2016, between 8.00 am and 11.00 am. and replace it with a fresh piece.
On 19/10/2016 as no one from Amazon reported to collect the product, at @ 4.00pm we called Amazon Service and surprised to know that they have denied any replacement from their side and that their policy has changed.
I have audio recordings of both the calls with Amazon representatives.
