Abusive sellers on Amazon india.pathetic support

I would like to bring Amazon and its customers to notice about how I was verbally abused on July 21 around 12:40PM by one its seller named Indo Suits just because I refused to accept his request to change the feedback(stating the true facts) I have given about him for an order# 405-2905318-2260326 which was placed in march this year. I have been deeply hurt and disappointed by this and I feel that amazon is partially responsible for this as they are the ones who have shared my contact details with this seller. Seller used dirty “f word” slang for me and my parents. When I told him that I will complaint about this to Amazon, he has told me that he does even not cares about Amazon. I have spoken to Amazon customer care lady Vaishnavi and her team leader Ashish, who seems to be taking the matter casually and told me that they filled up some seller feedback form. I was shocked to hear that as a customer Iam making a serious complaint about how I have been harassed and verbally abused by one its seller and all Amazon could do is just fill up seller feedback form, no complaint no, no updates to be shared with me about what action will be taken against seller(basically felt like abusive sellers are more important to amazon compared to its loyal customers), will be given to me as customer care took my incident as complaint. The least minimum action I or anyone else would expect in this case is banning of this seller from Amazon platform so that he would not be able to abuse any other customer and he/she does not have to bear such harassment.


I have greatest respect for my parents like most of people do and I will not tolerate any dirty slang(usage of dirty "F" word slang) against me and especially for my parents. I am attaching the screenshot I have taken from my mobile. As you can see the truecaller has identified seller number as Sanjay Chabaria from Gujarat state and since my number has been shared with seller by amazon, hence I decided to inform amazon customer care which can also been seen from attached screenshot.


I doubt that this post will be published or not, but it my duty to let Amazon and other know how Amazon sellers are treating its customers and if Amazon does not takes any strict action against such sellers, then its not just me, I believe everyone will lose faith in Amazon which it has gained over the years. I have a Amazon customer for more than a decade and have started shopping from Amazon.com(USA site) and I do believe that if it would have been Amazon.com then surly they would have banned such abusive seller from Amazon platform, Iam doubtful about Amazon india specially after the way customer care took seller feedback instead of taking as an official complaint. I am prime member I do not care even if my membership money gets to drain, if Amazon does not bans this seller, then I will never ever buy from Amazon no matter even if Amazon offers everything for free also as a person’s respect is above all, specially money and Amazon.


Note-: I have posted this same message on Amazon india FB page but highly doubt that admins of that page will publish that.


Update 23/07/18-: Amazon india FB and social media escalation team member Prithavi M's reply are just hollow words and all they can do is to coach and give feedback to the seller. Seriously coach about what? Probably they are coaching their sellers on how to be abusive with their customer with a guarantee that no action will be taken against them. have replied to this email and included email id jeff@amazon.com as well. Since Amazon India is hell bent on gaging my voice, I have decided to put my review here and other places with the hope that mouthshut will not look at this review with an opportunity to make money by asking money from Amazon for removing this review as they do it.


Update 25/7/2018-: As per email from SM escalation team member Rajat, Rajeev, Mohammad, they say as per their policy will not share any details of action being taken against seller. I still the seller has not been banned on Amazon. reply from Amazon clearly shows that its policies are seller oriented and they have given a free hand to sellers to abuse customers. I am planning now to ask them to remove all aishwaryasingh23ment related information they have stored over a period of decade, followed by which I will delete my Amazon account. Do not want to be associated with a company who does not values its customers. They have still not made my FB post publish and give illogical reasonings for keeping it hidden. I plan to upload a youtube video as well showcasing all communication and details about incidents.


All support guys can do is send you template based replies.


My advice to all, stay away from Amazon unless you want to get abused by its sellers and then get humiliated by their support who will side with seller.


Update-: from past one month has been getting nhassurance from customer relation team as per their reply my mail has received Jeff's Inbox and they are replying on behalf of him. So all the nhassurance says that they have put up the matter with seller mAnasultangement team and will update me shortly. Don't know when that shortly will come.


Final update-: Finally after wasting so much of my time with emails, they finally called and told as before that the action they are taking can't be told to customer, in short basically they will train their sellers( I guess training is on how sellers can be abusive to customer and with guarantee that no harm will happen to them or their business as Amazon is a seller oriented platform and where customers has no rights, they are just at the mercy of sellers.


I am done with Amazon india and will never ever make any purchase from them, I have started buying from other indian sITES_Company like tatacliq which provide better and cheaper deals and most important of all service to its customers. I think its good in way to support indian companies and help them grow rather than helping bullshit foreign companies like Amazon who only care about money and not customers specially if you are from india.
