Disappointed !! I had great "Expectations" !. Review on Amazon

I reviewed Amazon.in(earlier review is read for your reference at the end) back in the month of November 2013 when I ordered Lumia 520. This time I am really very much disappointed with the service provided.

I ordered an External Hard Disk "Seagate Backup Plus Slim 1TB" along with the "AirCase" hard disk cover.

After going through several recommendations shown on the site I figured it out that all recommendations are merely permutation and combination of products nothing more than that. And because of it I got trapped. I followed the recommendation and ordered AirCase cover(shown as if it is meant for the same hard disk model) along with the hard disk.

I received my order on 5th day(delivery location was Barakhamba, New Delhi). Packaging was awful. Neither the order was bubble wrapped nor it was between any air bags or something. The box in which the hard disk and cover came was way too large to hold them steady. By tilting the box you even feel the movement of content.

Hard Disk is superb and I dont have any regret of buying it. But coming to the AirCase which turned out to be of large size as if it was meant for the traditional hard disk. I returned AirCase cover the very next day itself.

After returning the cover I received a message from Amazon that they have received the order and my refund will be issued/ will be credited to my account with 10-15 days. Guys it already more than 15 days and I haven't received any amount neither any mail or message. In-short no support has been shown from the Amazon people.

As per my previous experience of Amazon I had no clue that such thing will ever happen. Firstly the delivery was too late and secondly, I don't know where my money has gone.

Lastly dont ever rely on suggestions/ recommendations shown on the website.

After getting disappointed from the service provided by Snapdeal I started looking for another site from where I can get my mobile phone at lowest price and eventually my search ended on Amazon.in

Initially I was confused that whether to place my order or not but on the advice of Mr.V.Jain(member here on mouthshut.com) I placed the order of Nokia Lumia 520(payment mode-COD).

It was placed on 7th Nov and est delivery date as per amazon.in was 19th Nov. but when I checked it out with the courier's website it says 12th Nov. I waited patiently and finally I received it on 11th Nov. i.e flat on 4th day.

It was coming all the way from Mumbai. So it was impressive for me. I think there is a glitch in the tracking system as on 13th Nov. It was showing that my product was in Lucknow. May be its was only in my case.

Mobile box received was sealed and was extremely well packed surrounded by the air-packs.

So guys I had a great experience with Amazon and would suggest you guys to at least try it for once!
