I had ordered Amazon Alexa Echo dot 3rd generation @2499/- In the last week and configured the same in my home Wi-Fi network. Concept is very good, idea of the product is excellent but require more improvements and will take more time to achieve the customer requirements
Amazon is no doubt studying the customer requirements but as a customer I have observed and would suggest to improve below points.
If Alexa is connected to internet, it should be able to get any information available on internet, If requested to it, but seen only limited music online library like hungama, saavn, gaAnasultan etc. By default it prefers to play hungama library and if ordered will try to search into other online librarys which are limited to above mentioned.
Very limited nursery rhymes, does not understand simple "funny little ducks"rhyme with for kids.
language is a big problem. Alexa understands only English language, should have local language understanding.
Alexa has a speaker in built, I have not found any option to connect Alexa to use it's speaker for listening music from my mobile.
Not works on chargeable batteries. Now a days even a bluetooth speaker comes with chargeable inbuilt batteries with a good day backup time so that it becomes portable to carry any where and use even without power plug points.
Inbuilt or online storage for recording.
Even calling with Alexa is complex. I have not understood. Seems confusing.
Also possibly additional improvement, If SIM card slots and video screen and screen sharing to wifi smart TVs or Wifi projectors is available then it will rock in the corporate world where in these people use video conference devices are very costly.
Good Features which I have observed :

2.Good speaker sound
Look and design very attractive.
Compact and could be carried any where.
Can be connected to any smart devices
The device as of now may not be acceptable by masses, but yes, If improved, device will definitely going to rock.
