I have been to amarnath 3 times and still my heart isn't fulfilled and wants to visit again and again. It is one of the most adventure journey as well as holy place. In terms of Adventure we have to do trekking of almost 20-25 kms till the holy cave starting from pahalgam. Apart from trekking we have to do camping also for overnite which is one of the most scarring
The another interesting thing while going on a amarnath yatra is that we don't have to worry about the food. After evrry 1 km food will be available as bhandara which is so tasty and yummy.
It is considered as one of the most difficult yatra because as we go more and more high there is a lack of oxygen so oldage people kindly don't go by trekking they can take helicopter sewa.
Apart from this we must be totally aware of ourselves. We must adopt our safety by our own
Do's
1) Wear complete winter clothes
2) Wear those sport shoes only which aren't flat from bottom, always wear sneakers or studds
3) Always carry a water bottle, torch, glucose and some food items like cashew
4) Always carry a college bag on your shoulders
Don'ts
1) Donot wear anything except shoes
2) Don't use mobile phones while trekking as the roads are very slim.Always look straight and look at your feet and walk
