Chandamama has over the years scored over the Chandamama in the sky. The latter has been conquered by mankind but no one has been able to ape the originality and story-telling abilities of the publication.
On that singular count, Chandamama is head and shoulders over all other contemporary magazines that cater to children. True many magazines have carved a niche for themselves, including in terms of circulation.
But to people like me no Harry Potter, no magic wand can snatch our love for Chandamama. And I know that I am speaking for hundreds and thousands of parents, grandparent and children of the SMS league.
