I did my UG programme in B.sc in alvas college. academic programs are well organized by each deaprtments. This year( 2016) this college achived 16 ranks belonging to manglore university. They constructed new building for classrooms and well maintained laboratories for students. Laboratories are extremely good with all facilities. The fee of the academics is feesable and not costly as banglore colleges. Faculty is very good and friendly to students.
-They will conduct variety of programs such as seminars, flower arrangement, chemizone, model making and every saturday all students should participate in extra and co curricular activities like NSS, NCC, ROVERS AND RANGERS, and other foroums are conducted by every department.
Every year in college management organize the world famous VIRASAT and NUDISIRI , and many festivals etc.
They will organise the study tours and industrial visits to gain the knowledge.
Hostel facilities are good except food, and quite strict rules and each day having study hours.Celebrations like birthday and festivals are not allowed in college and hostels.
They have fabolous placement cell they will help to place in good companies. They will condcut placement program every year for all students of our state where nearly 400+ companies are participate.
College rules are strict and hostel rules are very strict but there is lots of enjoyment in it.
