PTV’s (Pakistan Television) unforgettable drama serial A B C means Alpha Bravo Charlie. It is written and directed by ''Shoaib Mansoor''.

It is an army based drama. I have never seen such a great and entertaining drama based on Army before. I just simply love this drama.

ABC is based on Pakistan army. Army has 3 units named Alpha, Bravo and Charlie.

ABOUT THE CAST AND CHARACTERS:

1 - CAPT. Gulshair

His real name is CAPT. M Qasim. He played a role of an army officer who is a son of a poor man and his father is also in army. He doesn't want to join Army because his father has low rank than him so his father has to salute him and that's what he doesn't like. He is an old buddy of CAPT. Kashif and CAPT. Faraz. He is in Charlie Unit.

2 - CAPT. Kashif

His real name is CAPT. Abdullah. He performed a role of a non serious Army officer in this drama. He has Bravo unit. He is a middle class fellow. He is a fun loving guy whose father is General in Army and wants him to join Army. He is known as a Sleeping Angel. Nothing can wake him up until he wake up himself. He hasn't serious attitude towards joining Army. But then something happens.....

3 - CAPT. Faraz

His real name is Faraz Inam. He played CAPT. Faraz and has Alpha unit. He is son of a rich landlord who won Sword of Honour from Academy and joins the Alpha unit. He is the perfect one however that doesn’t complete his story. A broken heart lover doesn’t know what to do. . .

4 - Shahnaz

Her real name is Shahnaz Khan. She performed a role of a girl who is very bold and determined, independent, confident and highly qualified. She works with special children. She is the one who is involved in A B C love chemistry.

STORY LINE:

CAPT. Reporting Sir!

CAPT. Faraz joins Alpha unit and he arrives in his brand new Mercedes on his first day in campus. His seniors want to teach him a lesson so they make him fool on his first day.

Next day CAPT. Kashif has to join Bravo unit and Faraz told him already what happened to him on his first day. Kashif assures Faraz that not even he is going to take revenge plus he is going to teach them a lesson as well. . .

On other side CAPT. Gulshair is joining Charlie unit and he got different unit than his father so he won't feel embracement.

DO IT OR NOT?! (IN ACADEMY)

CAPT. Faraz goes for a walk in a park and on his first day he finds Shehnaz there. He makes a stupid move of turning around with out completing his first lap. Then Shehnaz gives him a bold lecture of embracement and they end up happily on there first meeting.

As Usual CAPT. Kashif has nothing else to do than sleeping. On his first day he sold his horses. Academy boys try their best to wake him up but there is only one way to wake him up and only Faraz knows that. Faraz sets the bet with his mates that he will tell them but on one condition if they give up. And Boys are not gonna give up so they take CAPT. Kashif's bed right in the middle of the training ground and put a full bucket of water on him and he wakes up. So at last he wakes up on his first day.

Our simple man CAPT. Gulshair goes to his friend's duty spot to meet him. He is an operator. His senior calls him in his office and he puts CAPT. Gulshair in charge in his absence. At the same time his luck makes a turn and phone rings. He picks up the phone and hears a gentle voice. This is Shehnaz. And of course a wrong number! CAPT. Gulshair wants to flirt on his first day with out knowing who is on the other end. And after a very bold conversation when Shehnaz tells him that her uncle gonna take care of the matter then he comes to know that her uncle is a retired General of Army staff. And in return he has to spend 10 nights in the ground just waiting for general’s arrival. Poor chap!

FINALLY AS OFFICERS!

CAPT. Faraz. CAPT, Kashif and CAPT. Gulshair are friends. CAPT. Faraz falls in love with Shehnaz as she is very different from others. CAPT. Kashif is a childhood friend of Shehnaz who told Faraz about her and her different personality back ground. His family takes proposal to Shehnaz family and Shehnaz refused it because He is perfect. Here CAPT. Faraz's life takes another interesting turn as in his point of view his friends are lucky to get placements and he is sitting in an office and doing nothing.

Where CAPT. Kashif is doing all possible things that might become a purpose for his farewell from Army, However, in return of his evil deeds he has been appointed in Siachin. He takes Wives of senior officers for shopping so they might change their husbands’ minds but Poor chap!

On other hand CAPT. Gulshair and Shehnaz become good friends and Shehnaz is interested to marry CAPT. Gulshair where CAPT. Gulshair thinks that he is a poor guy and why should a rich and educated girl wants to marry him leaving CAPT. Faraz a side. Then Shehnaz tells him that her presence makes a difference in Gulshiars life where Faraz is already very successful. CAPT. Faraz helps both friends to become 1 soul. And they become happily married and CAPT. Gulshair has to join Pakistani UN forces in Serbia.

ALPHA TURNS INTO CHARLIE:

CAPT. Faraz doesn't know what to do after losing Shehnaz and having friends far a way. Shehnaz makes him realized that he is not a baby. He should make use of his money for instance. And he got into something with Shahnaz . . .

BRAVO TURNS INTO ALPHA:

When CAPT. Kashif reports in Siachin, he meets his training officer whom he let down with his bad record. He got the Siachin post. There CAPT. Kashif realized that he was a big damn fool. He realised how it is like to be an Army officer and how much responsible he has to be. Finally he got into something . . .

CHARLIE TURNS INTO ALPHA:

CAPT. Gulshair joins UN forces in Serbia and he helps Serbian people. But one day something happens that left Shehnaz, a mother of a child named Shair Jaan, as a widow.

MORAL:

This drama is basically to show people and tell them about officers’ life and problems. It is also to make people realize that one doesn’t need to be born lucky. One can also make his luck. These three characters CAPT. Faraz, CAPT, Kashif and CAPT. Gulshair are totally different from each other and give us a lesson that where CAPT. Faraz is perfect from the start but by not using his skills he is nothing. Where when CAPT. Kashif's non serious attitude takes a turn that makes a difference for whole Nation. And CAPT. Gulshair who always underestimates himself has done a great job that no one else can do and that makes one realise that one can make his own destiny.

I really love this drama. A good research has been made and the direction, acting and everything is awesome. Flawless! A highly recommended Drama! I think you must watch it at least for once & you’ll go for it again and again. Take my words!
