PROFILE OF SWEETNESS. Review on Alpenliebe Chocolate

I am introduced to Alpenlebe Chocolate by my big hearted daughter, she will part with anything but her chocolates and she saw me sitting sad after an argument with my wife, she understood with her tiny mind, I need cheering up, she said:baba why don’t you eat my chocolate and tell me how it tastes, this big sacrifice on her part made me smile and the delight is unending and this also made this chocolate memorable to me. Because the chocolate she gave me was alpenlebe.

Of course I am too big to be seen enjoying chocolates in this age; I sometimes sneak an Éclair or Bounty bar now and then, when hunger wants to subdue me. I like chocolates. I started seeing commercials of alpenlebe which are so many and so dense on all channels of India. I like the message in their advertisements, Grandfather sneaking an alpenlebe to Grandmother, newly weds gifting each other, eye catching advertisement on TV. The whole crowd has smiling faces.

Perfetti India total 10 candies , I will give some names of their products : Alpenliebe, Cofitos , Golia, Chlormint, BigBabol, Centerfresh, Chlormint gum, Center Shock, Spyro, Squeezie.Alpenlebe milk candy bar sells in India 1.5 crore single pieces in a month (15 Million) This company income is over 250 crores (2Billion 500 Million Rupees)

Van Melle India: Mentos, Fruit-tella, Marbles and Milkychoo

There was talk of these 2 companies merging operations in India. Probably it is already done.

These companies are competing with: Hindustan Lever Ltd .The MAX brand of candies/toffees sell more than other brands.

Anyway changing tracks, coming back to Center Shock: The funniest Advertisement ever to grace the television screens of India, the wise old barber understanding the youth's request and doing perfectly what the youth wants, where are understanding elders like that in India.

I gather except for minority products of Perfetti company all products are in the range of 50 paisa upto 1 rupee is it not great to chew the same chocolates in India as the kids in Italy are chewing for only 50 paisa (1 cent to 2 cents) I think the price range is very good. If I was not afraid of my daughter teeth, I would have purchased every day 10 to 20 alpenlebe chocolates. Simply seeing her face lit up with pleasure is too great to care for small things like teeth and dentists.

There is one thing in this brand of chocolates all have some fantastic taste in the centre of their products, every thing you taste in their products, their outer tastes are different from inner tastes, they are using this point to market their goods aggressively in all their range, their AD's don’t fail to outline the inner taste in their products. Me think they are putting a little extra sugar solution in their inner core than their outer coatings.

As for Lollypop I have not tasted it so I am so sorry to not give enough information about them, I have however given you company profile and general outlook of their products, its the practice of us BOILED RICE eaters when we want to check the rice is cooked well or not we pick 1 grain or 2 and that is enough information to guess the condition of the pot, so folks the pot is in front of you, do what your heart desire.
