When I bought the tickets for this movie I was actually not expecting much from this movie. It was just for good fun and I wouldn't say that I wasted my money.
I actually enjoyed the movie. It was worth the relish.I had an idea about the storyline of the movie, anyone could have guessed it from the promos but the way the actors have portrayed their characters is really nice.
The story is about a boy who has just returned from America and his parents start forcing him to get married, but the boy who is a Hindu has fallen in love with an Indian-Muslim girl in the US. He seeks help from his Uncle (Hakim - Manoj Pahwa)to sort out the situation.
They plan to introduce a Firang Babe as the love interest of the guy to his parents and the real Love interest just accompanies the Firang babe and eventually gains the love and trust of the Father , Mom and the Beeji.. The twist in this Love tale is the Mama of the guy who has convinced everyone in the house that he is a Charsi and cannot be in his senses ever.
This guy doubts everyone and is hell bent on persuading the Father, Mother and Beeji that something is wrong. How does the guy, firang babe, love interest and the Hakim ji carry on with the story is what makes the movie. There are small portions in the movie which I really loved, like the reactions of the Father (Khulbushan Kharbanda) when he meets this Firange Babe (Linda Arsenio) and to her different avatars.Aftab looks quite cute in the movie but Aamna is a disappointment (She needs to improve!!).
I simply adored Sanjay Mishra (Mama)for his performance and really like him. The Mother's (Meenakshi) dialogue - "Is Ghar Mein Firangi Bahu meri LAASH par se aayegi" was very nice. Overall, I think that although this was not a great movie but quite a nice one to watch. I loved the way the Film has been treated and would recommend this film to anyone who just wants to lighten up the Mood...Take Care..
