Almay Intense I-color...love it. Review on Almay Eye Makeup

I was looking forward to checking out this new group of products intended to make your eye color ''pop''. I checked my local pharmacy chain first...and found prices to be better at my local Walmart...about 5.99 per item. The set for each eyecolor includes an eyeshadow trio, an eyeliner, and a mascara...each sold separately. My eyes are blue so that's what I picked up. The eyeshadow was okay. Stayed on all day. I only use 2 of the 3 colors. There are very explicit directions on the back of the package explainining how to put on the shadow, by color, for the best results. The top color, (a very light blue) intended to be put on your brow bone was WAY to light for me. Though I do have blue eyes, I'm normally a ''warm'' make-up user, so the blue didn't cut it for me. The dark blue in my eye ''crease'' worked nicely and the warm ''bronzy'' color on the lid was nice.

I also bought the corresponding bronze topaz eyeliner. I really liked this eyeliner. I had never tried a brown eyeliner before, and I really liked the results. It's self sharpening and goes on smoothly. The color matched the bronze shadow in the trio, and combined did bring out the blue of my eyes. This however does not last all day, I usually need to reapply in about 3 or 4 hours.

The mascara is nice. Sapphire is the coordinating color with this set. All in all, the Intense I-color did what it promised. I would definately recommend the blue set to anyone that has blue eyes.
