Demanded Extra Money by Local Operator

On 2nd Jan 2021 night 12.45 am I had no connection. So I made a complaint (id-6238). And the system engineer called me and told me that the problem is from Local Operator's end So he is informing Local Operator. Till 11 am in the morning there was no connection and the Local Operator did not even contacted me. So I called the Local Operator Arup Ghosh and his 1st Reaction was "May be there is fault in your ONU." So I invited him check whether there is any fault in the ONU (which was given by the Local Operator and previously for purchasing the ONU he charged Rs.1400-1500). So he came and Checked that there is no fault in my ONU. Then he said "There is a fault in Patch Cable. And to get it repaired I will be charged Rs. 400)." Then I told him to First check his connection then come to this conclusion. Without checking the his system or connection who can you say this. Then he went to his place. At 1 pm the connection came and after that he came with a technician to change my Patch cable. So I told him that I got the connection a few minutes ago. Then he also checked and said that the connection is ok. Then he asked for Rs.100-150 as he has contacted the technician and the technician came. So as a token of good gesture he demanded Rs.100-150. I was quite surprised by his attitude. I said "I did not get anything repaired. I did not demanded to change anything. So how can he deman such money?" Isn't it his responsibility to check the connection and make it proper ? I did not ask him to do anything extra. So I completely refused to give him a single penny. At this he became angry and left my House.


Before this also I have complaint many times against this Operator Arup Ghosh. As he did not maintain proper connection. He did not repairs the faults from his ends. And he always reluctant to repair. If u don't believe me ask other customers under Ankur Cable Network.


At one time I was so fustred complaining for connection issues that I requested ALLIANCE TEAM to Change my Operator to Burdwan Broadband who is the best Operator in Burdwan town.


From 2015 to till now I have given him a total of approx Rs.2800.


I have given him installation charges 2 times. 1st time given Rs.1400 + Pack Charge for Cat-5 cable. Then again Rs.1400 for Fibre connection and ONU. So now If I have to pay a single penny for this connection I will simply LEAVE ALLIANCE only because of HIM.


there would not be a single Operator like him who will be so reluctant to do work or money hungry.
