You Bet, Laughter is the best medicine. Watch “All the Best'', a not-to-be-missed, rib tickling, the most hilarious play till date, according to happyz ;-)
What according to you is comedy? What makes you laugh? A joke OK a double meaning joke, someone making crazy faces, someone slipping on a banana peel (definitely not you ;-))…..This play has none of these silly things, but still it will make you laugh, but be alert else you may miss the next laughter sequence and I am sure you will not be able to control your laughter and will miss something or the other. But don’t worry you wont regret watching it the second time and laughing & enjoying even more. Oops …coming back to the review
General Information
Originally a Marathi play produced by Feroz Khan and written & directed by Devendra Prem is a riotous comedy. What, you don’t understand Marathi :o(? not a problem at all. This play has been such a big hit that its been translated in eight different languages and has seen over 3000 performances (according to records) worldwide each being a bigger hit than other, of course they were playing the same play LoL.
The Plot
Three best friends (of course boys) who are staying together fall in love with the same girl, what did you say, huh!! Nothing great about the plot, the same Hindi filmy types? Well, I know you have seen many such Hindi films of three guys falling in love with one girl but here all three have some or the other physically disability, one is deaf, the other dumb and the third blind.
The whole play revolves around the three of them trying desperately to win this girls heart, the toughest part is, None of them want the girl to know about their physical disability, so Being best friends they help each other at the same time they come in each other’s way to win this girls heart. The situational timing is something not to be missed.
The Climax
Of course all three best pals win the heart of this beautiful girl. But who will get the girl? You better go and watch the play to know this okie :o)
The best scenes
Can you imagine?
Deaf guy answering the phone call.
Blind guy describing the house perfectly.
Dumb guy understanding/replying to the girl & conveying his thoughts to her
Of course all these scenes are with the help of the other two friends
The impeccable timing and understanding between the three friends will keep you laughing throughout the play.
Yes!! You can watch this play with your full family, there’s nothing, which will embarrass you, there will only be loads of laughter and cheers.
P.S: I have watched this play in Hindi, but I am sure you will enjoy it in any language, as its the play that matters, language is just to convey.
Happy Watching!! Enjoy.
