I started wearing contacts around christmas of 2002, I was 13 years old. I truly hated wearing glasses, so my grade 8 teacher recommended contacts. She said it was the best choice she had ever made. It took some convincing to get my mom to allow me to get contacts but when I finally got them, it was the best feeling ever! You couldn't feel the lenses so you thought that your eyes just had perfect vision. Everything looked so alive! My eye doctor gave me a sample of Alcon Opti Free Express and I didn't really know how truly great it was until I had something to compare it to. When it ran out I tried the Renu kind. Horrible! Dry and itchy, red eyes! I went right back to my Alcon and never looked back! I only have one problem, sometimes right after I put my lenses in, they seem to scratch against the inside of my eyelid and it really hurts. Even though it doesn't last too long it is extremely irritating. I don't know if this is from the contacts I use or the solution. If anyone knows why this happens please write me a comment. Thank you!
