Hello People,
This phone was bought by me from Flipkart(it is an exclusive). At the time, the configuration was amazing, the price tag was reasonable but the company was new. We took a leap of faith and ordered the phone.
I will talk about the accessories first. The phone comes with a mediocre charger. It is slow and disappointing when you are in a hurry. It also came with JBL earphones. They were very good but as we all know, the earphone life is totally a factor of the care with which you use them. It lasts, but I do not know for how much longer. For some reason, it also showed some compatibility issue with my PC. Finally, the boomband. It has an app and everything, but its a super-power eater. The battery of the phone and the band drains quickly, and the band looks very low-tech when you compare it with the wearable tech. you have available in the market. The app shows some compatibility issues with other phones.
The screen is big enough but the picture is not crisp and high quality. The sound is good, the camera is very decent but you really should not expect a lot. For some reason, the quality seems to be worsening with time. The lag, though not much, is observable. The resale value is very bad. The memory is low and no memory card slot is present.
All in all, a good phone. If you are thinking of buying this now, don't. Phones of much better quality are available. Go for a Zenfone, Lenovo phones etc. Waiting for what Alcatel can bring next.
