The music of “Albela” as most of us must have heard is absolutely outstanding. All the songs in the movie are of the top drawer and are very melodious and refreshing to the mind. The songs, “Pyaar ke Jadoo”, “SAR se sarak gayi”, “haiya hoo”, “hai mera dil tu le JA” and “kaho to jara jhoom Lu” have already become very popular and are a regular features in all the countdown shows in the television.
I think all the credit should go to Jatin-Lalit and Sameer for the kind of music and lyrics that they have given and if the songs of this movie becomes a super hit, to which I have no doubt that they will, Jatin-Lalit and Sameer should be given a big pat on their backs for their outstanding work and tremendous dedication.
So all in all the music of Albela should go down in the books as one of the best and one of the most melodious of the year 2001, though its too early to predict anything!!!!!!!
