The World largest Hindu Temple. Review on Akshardham, Delhi

If I say that Akshardham is the pride of Our Country then this is not wrong. Akshatdham Temple spread out in 100 acres of area and it is the world largest Hindu temple. I often visit this place for getting peace and blessing.

Accessibility( How to reach):

It is situated near the river of Yamuna in Delhi. You can reach this place either by metro or by road.

If you want to reach by metro then you have to take blue line and board the train going towards Noida City centre metro station and deboard the train at Akshardham Metro Station. There is walking distance between metro station anf Temple.

On the other hand Bus, Taxi, auto etc are easily available. You can come with your personal vehicle also. There is very good parking facility also.

Hotels and Accommodation:

New delhi is the capital of India hence there are enough hotels, lodges are available. You can choose them according to your budget and convenience. The temple is about 10 km from new delhi railway station and 20 km from Airport.

There are various locations like Paharganj, Laxmi nagar, central delhi where hotels and food facilities are easily available.

Apart from mandir there is a musical fountain water show also. Exhibition is also amazing to see.

Mandir Timing- 9: 30 AM to 8: 00 PM

Exhibition- 10: 00 AM to 6: 00 PM

Water Show- After sunset 7: 45 PM

Mandir Entry is free.

Exhibition Ticket- Rs. 170  for adults, 100 for children

Water Show Ticket: Rs. 80 for adults, 50 for children

Caution and Dress code:

Mobile, camera are not allowed. Photography is strictly banned. This is a place of God, so dress must cover shoulder, navel, should be of below knee length.
