Story
The Akira Movie Story is all about a college girl Akira, who moves Mumbai from Jodhpur to pursue her further studies on the advice of her brother. Akira is a physically strong girl who believes in being self-reliant. Her college mates soon recognize her power after watching her killing people but suddenly she gets involved a crime, unwillingly.
Four corrupt police officers ( Anurag Kashyap playing a role of one of them) , one sudden crime incident put the Akira at a point of life where she loses her family, friends and loved ones. Now, the all alone Akira fights against all odds and gets justice herself by fighting to every wrong intended person and situations.
Akira revolves around Sonakshi completely and she steals the show with her power packed performance. She performed action 1st time but she nailed it. She manged to impress audience with her kicks.
Anurag kashyap is playing a negative role of a corrupt police officer who is trying his best to knee down the Akira. He delivered a decent performance in film.
Konkona is also in a pivotal role of Police officer in the movie who is investigating the truth of the crime incident. She also done justice with her role.
Akira is a good movie to watch but it could have been more better. There are lot’s of things to improve in photography, action, screenplay, direction and other fields. The 1st half is a fast paced and keep you engage but the 2nd half loses the pace. The 2nd half is also filled with some strange twists and turns.
All in all a one time watch.
