I have seen this movie so many times, and still everytime, it is a refreshing experience. Hats off to Mansoor Khan, who always seems to be believing in quality over quantity. Career of four movies in all, two of them smash hits, qsqt and jjws, two others, josh and ahat, may be doing average business, but almost all of them very well-made movies.

I am very much impressed by the script, fresh treatment, unique locations, simple yet effective story-telling, good old style of strong characterization, and overall mature direction. I am a big big fan of aamir khan, and as usual quite impressed by his natural charming acting style in this movie too. He is superb in the role of a single parent with his son, handling the ups and downs of his married life, and in the process learning his lessons about parenthood. All his scenes with the amazing child artist (AAdil Sumeriwala?) are real treat.

The songs is another strong point of the movie. The chemistry between aamir and manisha is fabulous. I love the songs 'dil mera churayan kyun, dil keheta hai chal unse mil, and rajako raani se pyaar ho gaya, and cannot take my eyes off the lovely pair. The song akele hum akele tum of the father-son duo is superbly picturized.

The famous court scene, the penultimate scene of Aamir sending his son off and crying incontrollably when left alone, the scene of aamir and manisha sitting on the bench at the birthday party for his son and talking formally but still being unable to hide their love for each other, the scene in the garden with Tanvi Aazmi and terrified and worried Aamir while his son is getting treated by the doctor, these and many others make this movie unforgetable. I will never tire of praising this movie and watching it again and again.

Unfortunately, reel life drama proved to be real life drama with a difference or two in aamir's life. How I wished aamir and reena come together again just like aamir and manisha in the movie!
