I purchased Aiwa model NSXS333 in 2000. It had a warranty of only 6 months and the problem started after that. At high volumes the CD track skipping started (due to vibrations), then I had to replaced LENS twice in 2 years costing me Rs3000/- , the brushes of the volume control got damaged and the Deck2 of the cassete player gives frequent problems.
Aiwa closed down their market in India and now there is no service available. The local repair shops/service centers charges exhorbitantly and cannot give you orignal spares. There is no contact address given by Aiwa for any support. When I asked the service center about the manufacturer they did not tell me clearly about the Aiwa manufacturing. No the product from indian market has vanished and the company has no regrets for that. I believe that these companies are selling low quality products for Indian customers.
The product is fraud, quality is bad and service is worst. I am frustrated. SAY NO TO AIWA always.
