Has she got the acting talent?. Review on Aishwarya Rai

Aishwarya Rai, this was the blue eyed cute little girl that was born to Brindya and Krishnaraj Rai on the 1st of November 1973. She has a brother, Aditya Rai, who is three years elder to her. She studied in Vidya Mandir, Santacruz in Mumbai and did her junior college from Jai Hind.

She pursued her graduation in Architecture from Rachana Sansad School, Mumbai. She started her career with an advertisement for Pepsi. Later on she decided to go ahead for the Miss India contest in 1994. She won the miss photogenic, miss top ten and miss catwalk along with Miss India World title.

She went ahead for the Big event (Miss world) and won many hearts with her beauty and intelligence. She emerged out as a winner and India had two beauty queens that year- their first Miss Universe- Sushmita Sen and their second Miss World- Aishwarya Rai.

Having pledged her beautiful eyes to an Eye Bank and endorsing it on national television, Ash was once again showered by publicity. Since her entrance into the Indian film industry in 1995, she has been signed on by the best directors, in films with lavish budgets, opposite leading stars and is today the superstar of the Indian film industry.

Her first movie was Iruvar after which she made her debut in bollywood with Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya (1997). The story was good, but her acting was too childish in it.

After that, she moved on to big banner movies and won awards with her performance in Taal and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. This followed till her best latest, Devdas.

It was a proud moment when she went to Cannes as an ambassador of India and when her picture appeared in the Time Magazine. But the question is....is she worth it?

According to me, Aishwarya is not the same she had been before. She has a plastic kind of smile and what I feel is that she is some sort of a show off. Mind you, she has got hits only with big banners and she cannot manage a hit on her own when working in small movies like Kuch Na Kaho ,Ye kya Ho Raha Hai, Kyu ..Ho gaya Na? and her very own home production movie- Dil Ka Rishta.

Infact, She looks more on the old age side. She looked too old to play a college girl in Kyu Ho Gaya na.

Her affairs with Salman and Vivek show her spoilt image where she's ditched both the actors from her personal life. Does this show that you cant rely on her?

Overall she started with her best , she has got beauty and brains but not the talent to act...
