Today I am gonna share my experience about Airtel Payments Bank.
Airtel payment bank is a new service in india and people are observing that whether it will create a challenge for the traditional old banks or not.
With a 7.25% interest rate and 0.5% transaction charges looks good. But thats not enough for a payment bank.
There are also many other good offers availble on other payments like bill payments etc. and that sounds quite good.
You can keep some money as fixed deposit for a long period of time with a good handsome interest rate of 7.25% but the only problem is that you can not withdraw it frequently.
I opened an accouny with digital bank services very smoothly, this is the same bank but different from that traditional banks and I was expecting that I will get the same response from airtel payments bank, but unfortunately that doesn't happen.
Opening an wallet with airtel is quite easy but you may know that is with out interest and I tried for 1month to open an account in airtel payments bank( with interest) but I couldn't just because of the poor services of airtel.
I also went to an nearby airtel shop and told them this problem after listening they did something to convert my wallet to bank account but couldn't and asked me to go home and said we will inform you when it's done.
I said ok, but till then I was not informed even I didn't received a call from them. This is really unexpected and disgusting.
I aslo then tried to contact them via their email but their was only one response and that was the same asking me to go the nearest shop and fix they will fix this problem.
I went on next day and they asked me to wait for some days and I was really fed up and I just quit this wallet account as they could do nothing.
