As Airtel has been marketing and Advertising about their new Airtel money on TV so I thought of installing the app and using it to judge it and whether or not it is better than the other payment apps available in the market but I will say that I was not quite satisfied with this app and Airtel have to work more on its efficiency and speed.
The concept of the app is just like any other payment apps available in the market but what disappointed me was that when I loaded some money into my wallet and tried to recharge and pay a few bills it took a long time through the payment gateway as it got stuck and hanged up quite a few time so I thought of withdrawing my money back into my bank account which too? took a very long time to reflect in my bank account and unlike most other payment apps available in the market which transfer money instantly to the desired bank account.
The layout of the app to is a bit struggle to navigate through and a new user will have a little bit of struggle to use the app for the first time as it is not as intuitive like most other payment apps available in the market which a new user can smoothly use.
The app is still in the developing phase so I won't say it has a lot of features and the user cannot transfer money from One bank to another bank directly to the app which sometimes is very necessary.
I won't rate the usefulness of Airtel money very high as of now as I am still waiting how they develop their payment app to the next level.
