Airtel payments bank is a part of airtel money where you can create a savings ac to get 7.25% interest on it. payments bank are completely digital hence to open an account I downloaded the airtel money app and clicked to apply for savings whereby I entered details like aadhar number, pan number, and nominee details. Once done, I visited the nearest airtel store and gave my mobile number and fingerprint to create the account. Airtel charged ₹50 as their non refundable deposit fee which the airte staff clearly told me. They have a nominal charge of 0.65% on withdrawal and 0.5% on transfers. I can add money to it by paying cash to retailer, NEFT from different bank or by using my debit or credit card of a different bank. Airtel will credit interest monthly. Overall good concept. Revolutiones the way to bank. everything is on finger print and otp and your mobile phone.
