Sitting in the room, my mobile rings and when I try to attend the call, the call gets cut.thats the sad condition of Airtel Connection in my area. Many a times I thought to switch over to Hutch or any other cellular service but my number was already in circulation therefore shifting to some other brand would have cost me huge expense which I didn't want. Nonetheless, I changed my mobile and bought one which had antenna, but to no avail the condition is still the same.
I really got fed-up when my father called up on my birthday in the night and I had to come out of the house in the winter night and stand out for nearly half an hour, chilling in the killing wind. These are the instances that really evoked me to reprimand the Airtel authorities as why did they promise over-all coverage in and out the country saying "Get connected to the world with India’s leading telecommunication service provider" when they can't even provide the services in the colony located in one of the busy cities of India, Pune.
Airtel surpassed all limits when I had to wait for whole night during new year eve to wish my father. Once again I was left frustrated owing to poor services of the Cellular Service Provider. And not just that last month I had to wait for 24 hours to recharge my mobile even after buying the card on right time since server was down. If such incidents will happen frequently then who wouldn't get bugged.
Anyway, I had Airtel connection in Bangalore as well, they had come out with a scheme wherein you can have free messages just by letting them deduct 20 bucks.and as ever I was lured by the scheme just to cry later over it. They deducted thrice the amount and only then I could get free message service that too after five days. And to top all that when I tried to get my money refunded there was no reply from their side.
I am not the kind to sit quietly but I had to for some time till I changed to Hutch. Hutch comes out with great offers from time to time and is not that expensive as Airtel in Bangalore. However, in Pune it was other way round therefore I planned to try Airtel again to my misery. And here I am today writing about the damned network, which keeps you counting stars in the night so that you can call up your loved ones the next day to wish Happy New Year.
